Tricks To Keep Your Vehicle Organized

When it feels like you live in your car, it can be hard to keep it clean. From the daily commute to carpooling your kids to school and sports practice, a lot can happen in your car. Coffee is spilled over that speed bump you weren’t expecting. The kids dropped fries, and you still have not taken the dry cleaning into the house or taken that bag of old clothes to the thrift store. Yes, you may feel like you live in your car, but that doesn’t mean it has to feel dirty or untidy. Here are some helpful tips to keeping your vehicle organized.

Used a Shoe Organizer

This first tip is great for those with younger children. Whether it is a road trip or just a 10-minute drive to the supermarket, kids love to lug around their favorite toy. Before you know it, your backseat is festooned with an array of toys, diapers, wipes, etc. Keep everything organized by placing a shoe organizer on the back of the front passenger seat. The spaces in the shoe organizer are the perfect size for toys, bottles, and more.

Place Cupcake Liners In The Cup Holders

Your cupholders can quickly become an eyesore. People drop their change or lip balm in there. Somehow crumbs find their way into the crevices of the cupholders. Drink spill, the cupholders get sticky, and dirt adheres to the bottom of the cupholders. You can eliminate the dirt and disfunction by placing silicone cupcake liners into the cupholders. When the liners get dirty, remove any items and wash them instead of trying to clean your cupholders.

Use DVD Case as Organizer

Before long the future generation will ask, “What is a DVD?” But until then, DVDs still play a part in our world. Sometimes, however, the DVDs unexplainedly vanish from the case never to be seen again. You are left with several empty DVD cases. Before you decide to toss those empty DVD cases, you may want to reconsider repurposing them into organizers for your kids’ colored pencils, markers, and paper when traveling.

Repurpose Tissue Boxes

Life can happen quickly and sporadically. A kid gets sick in the backseat, you need to remove dirty, wet socks and shoes, or you need to gather all your items in one thing as you get out of the car. At times like these, it would be great to grab a plastic bag, but where do you store them in the car? You do not want to have five rumbled store bags in your glove compartment. For an easy solution, repurpose an old tissue box to stuff and store plastic bags. When you need one, simply pull from the tissue box.
