Here in Texas, we know a thing or two about beef. We know there are times when only a thick, juicy hand-cut steak will satisfy your hunger. At those times, it’s a great idea to head over to to McBrides Land & Cattle Co in Wichita Falls. Since 1975, the good folks at McBrides have been grilling up steaks fit for a cowboy-sized appetite, featuring beef grilled over mesquite and cooked to order.
Got Beef?
McBrides Land & Cattle Co offers top notch steaks grilled and served just the way you like ’em. And the food is served in a casual atmosphere by a friendly staff who welcome you in like you’re part of the family. The ribeye will melt in your mouth, and the sirloin club is an excellent cut that’s full of flavor and seasoned to perfection. Still got a hankering for beef, but want to try something a little different? Get a Texas Chicken Fry. That’s a deep-fried ribeye cutlet served with French fries, tossed salad, and garlic toast. That’s a meal that satisfies on several different levels. But if you’re looking for a truly phenomenal cut of meat, you can’t go wrong with the 16-ounce KC sirloin or the 16-ounce Porterhouse.
And More
Sometimes you want a change of pace, and McBrides Land & Cattle Co has you covered there, too. In addition to top-notch steaks, McBrides offers pork chops, chicken, and seafood. One of the standouts on the menu is the butterflied quail, which can be grilled over mesquite wood or deep-fried according to your preference. Served with a tossed salad, baked potato, and garlic toast, that quail is always juicy and flavorful. Pair it with a small filet mignon, and you’ve got a feast right there on your plate.
When You Go
Head to McBrides for lunch from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday. Dinner service opens at 5 p.m. daily. They’re also open to reservations for large parties of 10 or more, so check with ’em before heading out.
